Billionaire faces drug trafficking charges

The head of a prominent tech company and a former heir to the Wells Fargo fortune are facing serious charges after allegedly being caught with drugs. New York residents may be familiar with Henry T. Nicholas III, who is the owner and CEO of Broadcom Corporation. Together with Ashley Fargo, ex-wife of Brian Fargo of Wells Fargo fame, the billionaire faces drug trafficking charges. Nicholas has retained criminal defense representation, though it is unclear if Fargo has done the same. 

NASCAR CEO faces drug crime charges

The head of a popular sports organization is facing serious charges after a routine traffic stop, according to local sources. NASCAR CEO Brian France is facing drug crime and DUI charges after being stopped by New York police on Aug. 5. If he is found guilty, he could face jail time, fines, and possibly the loss of his position in the NASCAR hierarchy.

Three face drug crime charges in New York

The Steuben County Sheriff's Office Drug Interdiction Team has reported they have arrested three people for suspected drug offenses. All three individuals are New York state residents, and all are facing drug crime charges. If they are found guilty, they could all see jail time commensurate with the severity of the charges filed against them.

Couple in New York face drug crime and other charges

Two people are in legal trouble following a traffic stop on Interstate 190 in Buffalo. New York State Police say they apprehended the duo after observing a traffic violation. The couple now face several charges for a drug crime, DUI and criminal weapons possession. It is not clear whether they have been released on bail at this time or if they remain in custody ahead of a trial date.

Man faces drug crime charges in New York

A 36-year-old man was arrested in Lebanon County while transporting several passengers, including children. New York police believe the man was under the influence of drugs. He now faces a variety of drug crime charges, and if he is found guilty, he could face serious jail time and other criminal consequences.

Drug crime charges filed against Dayton residents

Two residents in the village of Dayton have come under fire after being accused of taking part in illicit drug sales, according to the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. New York State Police have worked in conjunction with the task force to file drug crime charges against a man and a woman. Several other arrests are apparently pending as further search warrants are being approved as part of the ongoing investigation. 

Major bust takes down drug crime ring in New York

Police say a sting operation took down a number of gang members who were allegedly dealing in narcotics and involved in gun crime. The New York Police Department dubbed the almost two-year investigation Operation Gang Green, which culminated in 15 arrests in connection with drug crime and weapons in the city. Cops seized a number of cars that were allegedly used to transport drugs and weapons, as well as $80,000 in cash during they described as the shakeup of a local gang operation in which 11 of the 15 arrested were members of a Dominican street gang. 

New York sues to shutter site of major drug crime

In an attempt to thwart the sale of illegal narcotics that resulted in six overdoses in 16 months, the city recently filed a lawsuit to shutter a Staten Island apartment. The Graniteville complex is home to a New York residence which is allegedly a major drug crime scene where two deaths have occurred among the overdoses. Illegal drugs have also been sold out of the home, according to the authorities.

12 New York residents arrested for major drug crime

A dozen members of a faction of the well-known Bloods gang were arrested in connection with a recent drug bust. The 12 are apparently members of the Mac Baller Brims and are facing drug charges for allegedly peddling heroin and crack cocaine in the Bronx, a Brooklyn housing project and a northeastern state. Police say a 32-year-old high-ranking member led the drug crime operation in East New York's Pink Houses, buying from a 45-year-old man who dealt drugs in the Bronx.

New York cops seize luxury car amid drug crime charges

Among the items seized by the New York Police Department in a recent drug bust was a Lamborghini. The luxury car was accompanied by the additional seizure of $600,000 that cops say are the fruits of drug crime. The investigation into two deaths caused by overdoses of the illicit drug, fentanyl, culminated in the arrests of four New York City men. Authorities also say they confiscated about 20 pounds of drugs.
