15 charged with drug crime in New York, warrants for 7 more

Some 22 people have been arrested and charged with drug crimes following a nearly year-long investigation in Yonkers, according to local sources. New York police targeted a number of suspected drug dealers in the sting operation, many of whom were arrested on the morning of Dec. 6. The drug crime charges filed against these individuals are varied, and could result in jail time if convictions are secured. 

2 arrested for alleged drug crime in New York

Two people are in custody following the execution of a search warrant on Long Island the afternoon of Nov. 30. New York law enforcement from across several teams and units raided a home in East Patchogue. A 30-year-old man and a 27-year-old man are now facing drug crime charges for their involvement in the alleged activities taking place at the residence.

Drug crime charges filed against 3 in New York

Three people are facing a large list of charges after being busted by police on Long Island in and around the weekend of Nov. 25. Multiple drug crime charges have been filed against all three individuals, who were apprehended by New York authorities after an alleged drug deal. It is unclear whether any of these individuals have yet retained criminal defense counsel.

Man accused of drug crime in New York

An out-of-state man is facing serious charges here in New York, according to officials from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. The man was arrested on Oct. 30. He faces multiple charges pertaining to allegations of drug crime and weapons. If he is found guilty, he could be faced with a hefty prison sentence.

Woman in New York charged with alleged drug crime

A woman who has experienced legal trouble in the past is now facing new charges, according to local police. Officers in Plattsburgh, New York, arrested the 24-year-old woman on Nov. 6 on suspicion of drug crime offenses. The woman had previously served a year in a correctional facility on a similar charge from May 2017 to May 2018. She is currently in custody awaiting a trial date.

Men in New York faces drug crime charges

Three men have been arrested following an investigation into alleged drug-related activity. The men in Port Jefferson have been arrested on New York drug crime charges after it was alleged they used a barbershop on Long Island to sell potentially thousands of dollars in illicit narcotics. Due to the serious accusation, each man is likely considering criminal defense options as the cases head to court. 

7 people arrested in New York on drug crime charges

A raid conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation has resulted in seven arrests in New Rochelle, according to local sources. FBI authorities worked closely with New York law enforcement to conduct the raid, which was targeting alleged drug crime in the neighborhood. If convicted, they could face a mandatory 10 year sentence, or a maximum sentence of life in prison. 

Several doctors face drug crime charges

A drug bust on Staten Island has resulted in ten arrests, among them five doctors, three medical assistants and a pharmacist, according to state police. New York authorities conducted a sting operation after an investigation led them to believe that pain medication was being illegally prescribed by these individuals. All of those arrested now face serious drug crime charges and each could face jail time if found guilty. 

Police chief in New York faces drug possession charges

The chief of police in Kenmore is facing serious charges that could jeopardize his position in law enforcement, according to a recent report. The chief of the western New York village has been charged with drug possession after authorities suspected him of stealing from the drop box in the police station. If he is found guilty, he could face a $100,000 fine and up to a year in prison. 

New York man faces drug crime charges

A man in Avoca was arrested by state troopers after allegedly trying to hide drugs during a traffic stop. The New York State Police in Avoca apparently stopped the Rochester man on Sept. 26, leading to the drug crime accusations. He was arraigned in a village court and now awaits trial in a county lockup against $25,000 bail or a $50,000 property bond.
