A man from Long Island, New York, was recently arrested for sexually assaulting two young sisters, ages 5 and 6. The latest crime reportedly happened in Queens, New York, while he was delivering furniture.
This is not the first time the man has been accused of a sex crime. In fact, in just a little over a year, the 44-year-old man has been accused three times. The second time occurred in June last year at the Jack's Shack restaurant where he was employed. He had reportedly placed a cellphone under the sink in the ladies' bathroom and was taping unsuspecting women. The Nassau County Police Department took that report, but also arrested the man.
The first of the three times the man faced charges for a sex crime was in December 2014 when he was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and first-degree sexual abuse. He had allegedly exposed himself in a grocery store to two children.
The man is currently being held on $25,000 cash bond or $50,000 bond.
Allegations of a sex crime can have a significant impact on your life, your family and your reputation. This is even if you aren't found guilty. An experienced attorney knows how to work to minimize the effects of the charges on your reputation.
It is important to remember that sex crimes can often turn into "he said she said" moments in court. The alleged victims are often not able to testify, too. While these charges are some of the worst that someone can face, it is important that everyone who is charged with a crime has the right to a fair and impartial trial.
